Workshop Fitter

We are looking for a Workshop Fitter to fill a permanent position based in Bognor Regis, West Sussex. In order to be considered you will need to have experience of working as a fitter in a HGV or LGV or similar vehicle maintenance position. Some admin duties will be required.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Working between 8am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of DAF tractor units and Mega Cube Tandem Axle Box Trailers.
Your daily role will be to deal with defects, servicing, MOT preparation and checks. You will also keep records on work done with job cards and setting up purchase orders for parts and stock control, etc.
We have depots in Farnborough and Evesham which will require fortnightly visits in a works van from Bognor Regis to service and inspect trailers
