Starting with a single vehicle, Paul Mathew Transport Limited is now proud to be the largest single supplier of Transport Services to the Theatre Industry with over 170 trailers across the UK and Europe
Modern environmentally friendly vehicles are now used across the fleet. They will be seen regularly in major towns the width and breadth of the United Kingdom at number one touring Theatres.
The opening of European borders has shown that International Tours are becoming more popular with most clients and all our vehicles meet current EU legislation for emissions and taxation.

Starting with a couple of vans, moving anything and everything for clients around the United Kingdom
First tractor unit purchased and used for traction only pulling other operators trailers
Our first theatre work began with a get out of Shirley Valentine from Churchill Theatre Bromley
We move into our new 15,000 sq ft warehouse in Littlehampton. The idea was to get everything under one roof, a bit optimistic as it turns out. We also increased our fleet number with adding an extra 2 units
We take control of our next warehouse in Faversham at 24,000 sq ft and adding 20 new step frame trailers to the constantly expanding fleet.
1996 Saw our new warehouse in Stratford upon Avon take in the first of many scenery storage.
4 more tractor units are added and 10 more step frame trailers come on line ready to be used
Over the next 4 years we add to our tractor unit fleet bringing the total to 40 units along with 150 new mega trailers
We move out of Littlehampton into our new purpose built 24,000 sq ft warehouse head office and vehicle workshop in Bognor Regis
We start a replacement programme of renewing 10 vehicles per year, to keep age down to a maximum of 4 years old together with new Mega trailers purchased at 20 per year
2018 saw the construction of our new 24,000 sq ft warehouse in Evesham, a month after signing the papers and the building is already 3/4 full!
As 2020 gets underway, we are extremely proud to be celebrating 40 years of trading.
After some well known supply chain constraints, 2022 saw our first delivery of DAF's all new flagship XG+ tractor unit. More efficient, more spacious. more luxurious!
